CREATIVE COMBINATIONS WORK WITH ALL SUBJECTS

TECHNICAL vs. CREATIVE
Technical Settings Inside Camera vs.
Creative Choices In Front of Camera

THE SECRET TO GREAT PHOTOGRAPHS
The secret to creating amazing photographs is not the technical settings inside the camera, it is the creative choices you make in front of the camera. A photograph can be technically correct but boring if it has bad create choices. Bad lighting alone can ruin a photograph.

Creating a structure of 4 visual fundamentals with 3 creative choices each lets anyone learn how to see creatively and develop their creative eye.

NOT CAMERA or TECHNICAL
Visual Creativity is Secret

Use Creative Cards to Create Unique Creative Combinations
Buying an expensive piano won't make you a great pianist. Buying an expensive camera won't make you a great photographer.
Technical settings alone produce boring photographs. Your creative eye is your best camera accessory.

GREAT SOCIAL ACTIVITY
Free Fun Hobby

Create Social Connections Outside of the House
Creative photography is a great social activity that can get you out of the house and in places where you can meet other people.
Instead of just standing around you can be looking for great subjects and combinations of creative choices to photograph. Taking photos can be an excuse to get out of the house.

1. CONVERSATION STARTER: Conversations may start about you photographing something and looking at different creative choices. You can show people images you have taken on your cell phone or camera to let them see how creative your photos are.
2. SHARING PHOTOS & STORIES: You can send your photos from your cell phone to family and friends. You can also tell the story of how you found your subject and the different creative choice combinations you tried to come up with the photograph.
3. ONLINE SHARING: You can share your photos online with photo sharing websites like Facebook and Instagram which creates social activity online. You may also want to tell the story behind the photo of how you found the subject and the different creative choices you used to photograph it.

MIXING CREATIVE INGREDIENTS
For Delicious Photographs

Go Beyond Time and Temperature
In baking you want the time and temperature but the ingredients are the most important part of a recipe.
In photography you want good technical settings but the creative choices are the most important part of your photograph.
